Keith Cassidy has been very busy over the past couple of days traveling throughout Manitoba and Saskatchewan getting players signed to cards. The first official names to sign up are Tyler Kauk from the Winnipeg AAA Midget Thrashers and Ben Johnstone from Carlyle.
Keith had a chance to take a little break today, to talk about those 2 players and more.
Kauk wasn't at the Bruins spring camp since he was busy with the Thrasher's run to the Telus Cup. I got to meet Johnstone, and he's a great character kid, who shouldn't have a problem blending in with the team.
-- There aren't too many coaches who sign a 5 year contract, but there aren't too many coaches like Bob Beatty. La Ronge is really lucky to have him.
