If you tuned into Locker Talk a couple of weeks ago, you would've seen Derek Daku talk about his hope to face Devon Smith and possibly for the Heavyweight Championship.
Today Daku's wish was officially granted as Hard Knocks announced that Daku will meet Smith with a chance to become the Heavyweight Champion on the next card in Estevan on June 1.
Daku recently returned to Estevan after some training in Las Vegas with UFC veterans like Roy "Big Country" Nelson and Bantamweight Champion Dominick Cruz.
I had a chance to speak with Daku today about his upcoming title fight here in Estevan.
