The nominations for the SJHL Coach of the Year were announced this morning by the league, as the Bruins Keith Cassidy was the lone nominee from the Sherwood Conference. Also nominated for the award was Doug Johnson from Nipawin, Kevin Hasselberg from Battlefords and Dean Brockman from Humboldt.
The award is selected by the SJHL media, and I know that it's going to be tough to determine the top coach.
Earlier today I had the chance to speak with Bruins Head Coach Keith Cassidy and the other Bruin nominees.
