There will be a pair of familiar faces in the Nipawin Hawks lineup tonight
when they meet the Estevan Bruins tonight at Spectra Place.
Ryan Ostertag will be making his debut for the Nipawin Hawks tonight
after being traded from the Bruins to Nipawin on Thursday. Also in the
lineup for the Hawks, will be Jesse Bernard who was traded to the Hawks
by the Bruins a couple of weeks ago.
The Bruin's Tyler Paslawski will be facing his old team, the Hawks for the first time since he was dealt to the Bruins.
The Bruins will be looking to snap their six game losing streak tonight.
The Bruins are coming off a difficult road trip that saw them go 0-2-1
against Kindersley, Battlefords and Humboldt. One bright spot for the Bruins on the road trip was the line of Paslawski, Taylor Reich and Derek Whitehill. Expect to see those three to have a big game once again.
One guy who had a lot of scoring chances throughout the road trip but didn't connect was Tanner Froese. If he continues to play like he did during the road trip, sooner or later the goals will go in the net for him.
The Bruins will get one player back from injury tonight as Matt
Brykaliuk is set to return to the lineup after being out the past couple
of weeks with a shoulder injury.
With the trades of Jeff Bartel and Lyndon Soper on Thursday and Connor
Milligan and Tyler Poskus both still injured, the Bruins will have to go
with five defencemen tonight, and one of those 5 d-man will be an AP. Brykaliuk could also spend some time on the blue line.
If you can't make it to the game tonight, you can tune into the webcast beginning at 7:30.
