It was a tough day for Bruins Head Coach and GM Keith Cassidy as he made three deals.
Defenseman Jeff Bartel (‘92) has been traded to the Swan Valley Stampeders of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League for future considerations.
Defenseman Lyndon Soper (‘93) has been traded to the Humboldt Broncos for future considerations. Soper was then flipped to Neepawa.
Forward Ryan Ostertag (‘92) has been traded to the Nipawin Hawks in exchange for the SJHL list rights to Forward Wyatt Johnson who is playing with the Saskatoon Blazers.
I'll post my thoughts later tonight, but I did have the chance to catch up with Cassidy and talked about the moves.
