Today the final 60 player selection camp roster for Team Canada West at the World Junior A Challenge was named. The lone representative from the Estevan Bruins was Tyler Kauk. The camp begins Sunday in Calgary.
Kauk will head to the Camp this weekend and if he's selected to the final roster he will leave Calgary and head to Nova Scotia next week. Kauk will miss the Bruins game on Tuesday in Yorkton and if he makes Canada West he could be up out for an additional four games. I had a chance to speak with Kauk after practice today about the selection.
