It was quite the summer for former Bruins goaltender Joel Danyluk. Last spring he won the award for SJHL Community Player of the Year which sent him to Europe for a 21 day vacation.
I talked to Danyluk a couple of times before heading out to Europe, and he debated about writing a blog about his voyage, but he felt that it would have been difficult to keep on a daily basis.
There will be an article in the upcoming edition the SJHL magazine, Overtime talking about Danyluk's trip to Europe. But sometimes pictures and videos are better than words. Here's the link for the video that Danyluk sent me about his trip to Europe.
I did talk to Joel a couple of days ago, and he says he's enjoying his time at Augustana. You can expect to hear Joel at an intermission sometime soon on a Bruins radio broadcast talking about Europe, Augustana and much more.
