Stephen Brunt from the Globe and Mail broke the news tonight that the Atlanta Thrashers are going to be moving to Winnipeg.
Over the last few days there has been some debate about what to call the team. Personally I think there's only one choice. J-E-T-S.
I don't like the idea of calling the team Manitoba Moose since it would just seem awkward to have a recent AHL team playing in the NHL.
With a history that featured players like Dale Hawerchuk and Teemu Selanne, it seems like the only name you can call the Winnipeg team is the Jets
