Bruins Sign Two More


The Estevan Bruins continue with their recruiting efforts yesterday as they locked up a pair of more prospects to cards. Here's the release from the club.

The Estevan Bruins have signed a total of 9 players for the 2012-2013 Season.
 

Yesterday, the Bruins Head Coach signed Dayton Picard from Stoughton, Saskatchewan, and Sean Whelan from Moose Jaw, Sasaktchewan.

Whelan, a 6’1 D-man who played 3 seasons with the Moose Jaw Generals, is expected to be a huge impact player for the Bruins.
 

Picard played 3 seasons with the Moose Jaw Generals Midget AAA team, wearing a letter, this player is sure to bring strong leadership skills and character both on and off the ice for the Bruins. Standing at 6’ and 170lbs, Picard will be a huge addition as a counterman for the Bruins.
