Ross and Yano Selected in USHL Draft

A pair of Estevan Bruin players were selected in the USHL Draft today.

Goaltender Tyler Ross was selected in the 15th round (212th overall) by Muskegon Lumberjacks. Ross was a mid season acquisition for the Bruins this year. He went 6-6 with 2.94 GAA and a Save % of 908. Ross started last season with the Michigan Warriors of the NAHL before joining the Bruins. Ross is originally from Warren, Michigan.

Defenceman Austin Yano was selected in the 18th round (268th overall) by the Lincoln Stars. Yano had 9 goals and 18 assists for the Bruins in his rookie campaign. He added 3 assists in the postseason.

The only other SJHL player selected in the draft was Russell Trudeau of the Melville Millionaires.
