Latest News

Bruins- The Bruins will be looking to build some consistency as they kick off their road trip in Melfort. The Bruins only have one three game winning streak this season (Oct.21-Oct.30) and are in danger of falling behind the pace of the top three teams in the Sherwood Conference with Notre Dame picking up points in their last 11 games and Yorkton on a 7 point streak game.

Mustangs-- With Battlefords putting together a five game winning streak the Mustangs are now 7 points back of 4th spot in the Bauer Conference. The Mustangs sit one point ahead of La Ronge for 6th place after losing in overtime to the Ice Wolves earlier this week.

Keep an Eye For

Bruins- The Bruins Forwards. With the team struggling to score in Yorkton and losing Austin Daae to Prince Albert this week, it will be interesting to see what kind of lines the Bruins will have when they open up their road trip in Melfort.

Melfort- Mustangs Goalies. It seems like that every time the Bruins lose to the Mustangs, Melfort's goalies comes up big. The Mustangs have two solid goalies in Jesse Wilkins and Patrick Johnson with Johnson in net for Melfort back on Sept.25 when Melfort picked up their win against the Bruins.
