Despite picking up three points in the two scrimmages at the World
Junior A Camp in Calgary, Tyler Kauk didn't make the Canada West team.
There
were no defencemen on Canada West who was born in 1993 which may have
hurt Kauk's chances to make the team since the team is only allowed five
in total.
Two players from the SJHL made the squad, Rhyse Dieno from La Ronge and TJ Reeve from Melville.
Kauk will be rejoining the team tonight in Wilcox, his status for tonight's game against Notre Dame is questionable
