Hunter is Officially a Cougar

Remember a couple of weeks ago when I said a Bruins player had a scholarship in place and I was waiting for a press release. Well here is the release. Congrats to Hunts, one of my favorites!

The Estevan Bruins hockey club is proud to announce that their captain from last season, Troy Hunter, has decided to continue his hockey career by playing CIS hockey at the University of Regina.

The 21 year old from Virden, MB came to the Bruins in a trade with the Dauphin Kings just before the season started and had 57 points in 56 games along with 11 points in eight playoff games.

The Bruins wish Hunter good luck as a member of the Cougars.
