Tuesday's Thoughts

-- It's kind of weird watching the RBC Cup with no SJHL team taking part in a tournament. Last time that happened was when new Bruin Head Coach Keith Cassidy lead the Selkirk Steelers over the Humboldt Broncos in 2007.

-- With the Bruins hiring Cassidy, the next news in the SJHL offseason is the Melfort Mustangs hiring their Head Coach and GM, and the SJHL hiring Laury Ryan's replacement.

--2 game 7 tonight. I think the theme for both games will be goaltending. That's why I think Buffalo will beat Philly with Ryan Miller. And the pressure is on Roberto Luongo to reverse the current Canucks fate.

-- Looks like the NFL draft's first round will fall on an off day for the NHL playoffs. Looks like someone answered my prayers. Now as a 49er fan, can someone let Patrick Peterson fall to 7.

-- 8 home runs already for Jose Bautista, nice to see a Blue Jay exceed expectations after getting a big contract. OK Roy Halladay is exempt from that list.
